ETHICS COMMITTEE REPORT FORM

1. Introduction and Vision

As KUŞGÖZ İZMİR VİNÇ KİRALAMA VE NAKLİYE HİZ. A.Ş., we commit to conducting our operations in the crane rental and heavy transport sector not only with technical excellence but also with the highest ethical standards. This text defines the ethical path that all our employees, subcontractors and stakeholders must follow.

2. Our Core Ethical Pillars
2a – Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Ethics

By the nature of our sector, OHS is not a choice but an ethical imperative.

  • Zero Compromise: Operations cannot commence if operators' competency documents (Class G Licence, SRC etc.) or machines' periodic inspections (TÜRKAK approved) are missing.
  • Fatigue Management: Pressuring operators to exceed legal working hours is unethical and strictly prohibited.
  • Right to Stop: Every employee has the "Right to Stop Work" in a lifting operation they deem unsafe, and cannot be penalised for exercising this right.
2b – Commercial Integrity and Anti-Corruption
  • Bribery and Facilitation Payments: Offering cash or in-kind benefits to gain an advantage in public or private sector tenders falls under "Zero Tolerance".
  • Gift Policy: No gifts that could influence the decision-making process may be accepted or given, except for promotional items of symbolic value (USD 100 equivalent).
2c – Asset Protection and Conflict of Interest
  • Equipment Use: Using cranes, platforms or vehicles in the company inventory for non-company, off-the-books or personal work is a serious ethical violation.
  • Fuel and Consumables: Misuse of fuel cards and spare parts is considered a breach of the "Loyalty Principle".
  • Conflict of Interest: Employees must report to the board any direct or indirect (family ties, etc.) commercial relationship with suppliers the company works with.

3. Structure and Operation of the Ethics Committee

The Ethics Committee consists of the General Manager, Administrative and Financial Affairs Manager, Human Resources Specialist and Legal Counsel. The committee's operating principles:

  1. Independence: The committee has the authority to make decisions independently from the management hierarchy.
  2. Confidentiality: The identity of the whistleblower and the evidence provided are not shared with anyone outside the "Need to Know" principle.
  3. Quick Response: Each report is taken into preliminary review within at most 15 working days.

4. Violation Reporting Process
Reporting Channels
Information to Include in the Report
  • The date and site location of the incident.
  • The licence plate or code of the relevant equipment (crane).
  • Witnesses and supporting documents (photos, delivery notes, etc.), if any.

5. Protection and Non-Retaliation

Our company guarantees that no employee who reports an ethical violation in good faith will have their employment terminated, be demoted, or have their working conditions worsened. Deliberately false and slanderous reports will be treated as a disciplinary offence by the board.

6. Sanctions

If an ethics violation is established, depending on the severity:

  • Written Warning and Reprimand.
  • Compensation for material damage (in the event of intentional damage to equipment).
  • Termination of employment with just cause.
  • Filing a criminal complaint with the judicial authorities.

Kuşgöz İzmir Vinç A.Ş. conducts all its activities within the framework of the principles of honesty, respect, ethical responsibility and accountability.
